Policy Framework

Access and Equity

The Institute is aware of the kinds of obstacles faced by those wishing to study. It is committed to making the training accessible to people from all walks of life. This attitude is manifested in some of the following ways:

  • The premises has been made wheelchair accessible.
  • FeeHelp removes the financial barrier to enroling in training.
  • A willingness to be flexible in negotiating fee payments.
  • An equal opportunity policy which supports diversity.

In order to safeguard the smooth running of the College and ensure these principles are fully adhered to, East Coast Gestalt has implemented a full Policy Framework. This Framework is subject to regular review and updating, in order to ensure that it remains effective and follows best practice in the sector.

Quality Control Between Member Organisations

The quality control between member organisations will be monitored by submission to GANZ Course Accreditation Committee on a three yearly basis and to the Course Governance Committee on a yearly basis before the beginning of each new intake of students. The Chair of the Course Governance Committee will be responsible for checking these submissions for quality standards and  systematic reliability.  The following  details and quality indicators (adopted from the GANZ Course Accreditation Submission Document) will be required to be submitted to the Course Governance Committee and annually reviewed.
